  • Cut, repair and resurface: determine joints and spacing. Cut control joints manually and with an early entry saw, clean out cut & fill cuts, inspect concrete, remove bumps, clean concrete surface, treat and re-seal surfaces, rough concrete surfaces, and bond materials to concrete, re-surface concrete, patch cavities, grind and rub concrete surfaces.
  • Create architectural finishes: pre-test sample surface, sandblast concrete structures, acid etch concrete, expose aggregate by spraying and washing, proved surface texture, texture and pattern concrete, including stamp and stencil, create burlap and broom finish, color concrete and panels.
  • Interpret blueprints associate symbols to objects, identify dimension of concrete related components, locate job requirements from specifications book, examine cross sections for elevations, dimensions and locations of concrete members, check local code requirements.

Mechanic

Middleton Construction is seeking an experienced and dependable Construction Equipment & Fleet Mechanic to maintain, diagnose, and repair our vehicles, construction equipment, and jobsite machinery.

This position plays an important role in keeping our crews productive and our equipment operating safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate is mechanically skilled, organized, and comfortable troubleshooting a wide variety of equipment used in day-to-day construction operations.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, maintain, and repair company trucks, trailers, and construction equipment
  • Perform maintenance and repairs on concrete equipment, including screeds and other specialized jobsite machinery
  • Service small engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and mechanical components
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance, including oil changes, fluid checks, filters, belts, batteries, and inspections
  • Troubleshoot equipment problems and make necessary repairs to minimize downtime
  • Inspect vehicles and equipment for safety or mechanical concerns
  • Maintain accurate service and repair records
  • Keep the shop, tools, and work areas clean and organized
  • Coordinate parts and supplies needed for repairs and maintenance

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a mechanic, equipment technician, diesel mechanic, or similar position preferred

Truck Driver

Middleton Construction is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Construction Truck Driver to transport materials, equipment, and supplies to and from our jobsites.

This position is an important part of keeping our construction crews supplied, organized, and on schedule. The ideal candidate is an experienced driver who is comfortable working in an active construction environment and takes pride in safely and efficiently getting the job done.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate company trucks to transport construction materials, equipment, and supplies
  • Haul materials to and from jobsites, suppliers, and company facilities
  • Load, secure, and unload equipment and materials as needed
  • Transport construction equipment between jobsites
  • Perform daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns
  • Follow all DOT regulations, company safety procedures, and applicable traffic laws
  • Maintain accurate driving, delivery, and inspection records

Middleton Construction is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Construction Payroll & Accounting Specialist to support our day-to-day payroll, accounting, and administrative operations.

This position is responsible for maintaining accurate financial and payroll records while helping ensure our employees, vendors, and projects are properly accounted for. The ideal candidate is dependable, highly organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced construction environment.

Responsibilities

  • Process weekly payroll accurately and on time
  • Review employee timecards and job costing information
  • Maintain employee payroll records, deductions, benefits, and tax information
  • Assist with certified payroll and prevailing wage requirements when applicable
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Enter and code vendor invoices to appropriate projects and cost categories
  • Prepare customer invoices and track outstanding receivables
  • Reconcile accounts, credit cards, and financial records
  • Maintain accurate job cost and project accounting information
  • Assist with payroll tax reporting, workers' compensation, and year-end reporting
